Track inventory across your stores
Set opening stock, adjust and transfer, count your shelves and reorder on time.
1. Opening stock
For each item, enter the quantity on hand and its cost — in the item form (Stock section) or by import. Opening stock posts to the ledger with its value.
2. Day-to-day movements
- Register sales, refunds and voids move stock automatically. Scanning a case counts its pack size.
- Deliveries add stock at the invoiced cost (see Purchasing & vendors).
- Adjust stock under ERP → Inventory → Stock with a reason: damaged, expired, spoiled, theft, store use, found, or correction.
3. Transfers between stores
- Inventory → Transfers → New transfer: from store, to store, items and quantities.
- Send — the stock is now in transit.
- The receiving store Receives it and notes any shortage, which is written off at the receiver.
4. Counting
- Inventory → Counts → Start count: full store or a cycle count (department or selected items).
- Count with a scanner, phone or by typing. Each line is compared with the books at the moment it was counted, so sales during the count do not cause false differences.
- Preview differences, then Post.
5. Kits and expiry
- Build kits (gift basket, meal deal) under Inventory → Kits; selling one moves its components.
- Turn on Track expiry on items; deliveries carry dates and the Expiry tab lists what expires soon.
6. Reorder
Set reorder point and max per store. Reorder suggestions list what to buy and can turn straight into purchase orders. Managers get a daily low-stock email when something is low.
