Manage lottery packs and shift counts

1. One-click setup

Open Point of sale → Lottery and choose Set up lottery. This creates the Lottery department, scratch-off items, an Online lottery key and the matching quick keys.

2. Add games

Add each game with its number, ticket price and tickets per pack.

3. Receive and activate packs

1. Receive packs as they arrive (scan or type the pack number).
2. Activate a pack into a bin when you put it on display.
3. When a pack is sold out or returned, Settle or Return it.

4. Count at shift change

At the register, the shift menu asks for the current ticket number in each bin. LeisureNexus works out tickets sold per bin and compares them with lottery sales rung up during the shift.

5. Pay winners

Use Lottery payout at the register for winning tickets up to $599. The payout is recorded as a cash movement so the drawer still balances.

6. Report

Reports → Sales → Lottery shows tickets sold versus rung up for each shift, so missing sales stand out.
