1. Choose Food & drink

In Settings → Your business, select Food & drink. The register switches to a menu-first layout and the food screens appear in the back office.

2. Build the menu

  1. Create departments (Starters, Mains, Drinks…) under Catalog → Departments and add pictures — they become the register's menu tabs.
  2. Add items with prices and pictures (upload, or generate with AI images).
  3. Under Catalog → Options, create option groups such as "Cook" (required, choose 1) or "Extras" (up to 3, +$1.00 each) and attach them to items.
  4. Set the kitchen station (Grill, Bar, Cold…) on departments or items so each station gets its own ticket.

3. Design the floor plan

  1. Open Point of sale → Floor plan, add areas (Patio, Main room) and tables.
  2. Drag tables into place, set seats and shapes.
  3. Print QR codes for tables if you want guests to order from their phones.

4. Take orders

  1. On the register, tap Tables, choose a free table and enter the number of guests.
  2. Add items; pick a seat and course if needed. Later courses wait until you choose Fire course N.
  3. Send to kitchen. Each station gets a ticket; add more later and it arrives as "Round 2".
  4. Move or merge tables at any time.

5. Kitchen screen

Open /register/kitchen on any paired device. Tickets show per station with timers; tap Start, Ready, Done (bump) or recall a ticket. Kitchen printers can print the same tickets with a buzzer.

6. Payment and tips

Tap Pay on the table — split evenly, pay part or separate checks. Card tips are charged with the card and recorded as owed to staff.

7. Online, waitlist and delivery

  • Online ordering and the waitlist are set up under Point of sale → Online ordering — see Online ordering & web shop.
  • Delivery apps: Point of sale → Delivery apps gives each app its webhook address and secret. Orders appear on the register with a chime and go to the kitchen.

Voiding a sent item needs a reason and a manager PIN; the kitchen gets a VOID ticket.
