Menu-first register, options and modifiers, floor plan and tables, courses, the kitchen screen, tips, online and QR ordering, waitlist and delivery apps.
What you get
Choosing Food and drink adds tables, the kitchen screen, item options, the waitlist, online and table ordering, and delivery apps. The register switches to a menu-first layout.
Step-by-step setup
- Administration → Your business → Food and drink. Under Tips, turn on Ask for a tip on card payments and set up to 4 suggested percents (e.g. 15, 18, 20, 25).
- Catalog → Departments = your menu sections (Breakfast, Mains, Drinks). Add pictures — they become the register's menu tabs. Set the kitchen station (Grill, Bar, Cold) on each.
- Catalog → Options → New option group, for example "Milk" (required, 1 choice: Whole default, Oat +$0.70, Almond +$0.70) or "Toppings" (up to 3). Attach groups to items in the item form → Options & kitchen.
- Catalog → Items: add dishes with price and picture. Open price for market-price items.
- Point of sale → Floor plan: areas (Main room, Patio) and tables with seats and shape. QR codes prints a code per table for ordering from the phone.
- Point of sale → Online ordering: Take online orders, page address (/order/your-name), Ready in minutes, payment choice, Waitlist online and Order from the table.
- Point of sale → Delivery apps: connect DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub (needs your partner account with them).
- Set up a kitchen screen on a tablet, and kitchen printers in Point of sale → Hardware.

Kitchen screen
Tickets appear by station with timers and are bumped when ready. Stations shown picks what each screen shows. Voiding a sent item needs a reason and sends a VOID ticket.
Waitlist
Register → Waitlist → Add a party (name, size, mobile, quoted wait). Seat now when ready; guests can also join online and watch their place.
